I've been playing with AI for the better part of a year, and majority of my outputs have not been satisfying. I'd always think, "I can paint this better myself." So I started to envision sculptures and elements I could not reasonably create with my own two hands, and wow.
I studied sculpture in college, making abstract floating (suspended from the ceiling) forms that aimed to depict the spiritual/emotional aspect of life. Since graduating a decade ago, I found it quite difficult to keep up the practice and leaned into painting and digital work instead, using dimension as a compositional element in my works. AI has presented a way for me to think sculpturally more accessibly.
It has been such a joy to create art while my other art is drying; the shift from majority control in painting to lack of control in AI has been an incredible exercise for my brain over the last year. For those interested, I began working with Dalle, which yielded more LoFi images (seen below) then shifted to Midjourney, which yielded more realistic outputs (seen above).
My preference is still making works with my hands, but as I grow older, and my body becomes less able to create physically, I’m excited to see how technology can step in and help my mind continue to dream and create.

My last name “Vittoria” means “victory” in Italian. These Vittoria bracelets aim to bring a bit of luck to the wearer. Each bracelet is handmade with glass beads on elastic and is inspired by my painting palettes. Like us, no two are the exact same.
These have been such a joy to make. To those who have purchased one already, thank you. Your support means so much to me. To those interested in a bracelet, head here:
